June and July (Update)

°JUNE°

The last few months were so busy for us that it feels so good to have had summer off! In Florida, kids finish school mid May. 

Buscht Garden, Tampa

We have a membership to Buscht Gardens and have lived in Florida for two years and still haven’t used it. So, we finally took a weekend to just take the kids for a quick trip. We stayed there for one night. The first day we went to Aquatica which is the water slides section and on day 2 we went to the roller coasters. 

My recommendation that I wish I knew before with smaller kids, do two days at Aquatican with the smaller kids and let the older ones enjoy the roller coasters. There wasn’t much to do for the smaller kids and we found ourselves just sitting and waiting for the older kids at the bigger rides. 

Also, IT IS HOT if you go during the summer months. Purchase a refillable cup – will save you so much money!

Elizabeth TBS-

Our Elizabeth went to Teen Bible School (TBS) held at our church. It was a month-long program and she loved her time there. 

Church Teens Trip-

Our son (Nathaniel) went with my husband on a teen’s trip for a weekend. They had such a wonderful time. They went to Sight and Sound Theatre, the Bible museum and Billy Graham’s Library. My husband was so moved by the library and we cannot wait to take our entire family there. 

Ohio-

We now have a tradition to go back to Ohio for July 4th and we have a wonderful time with family. The kids always drive back, so saddened as they miss their cousins. We went to the lake, enjoyed the park together and made lots of memories in deep fellowship.

Our future daughter, Joseph’s fiancée, drove down to meet our family – it was so sweet. 

Elizabeth had a graduation from TBS. She came home so inspired and on fire for the Lord, Praise Jesus. 

Church camp- 

July ended with a church kids camp. That was beautiful! We took the week of and served with my husband.
