Mexico Mission Trip

This was the first mission trip I went on outside the US that I was responsible for – it was absolutely amazing!

Christ is the Answer-

We joined a base called Christ is the Answer. They have over 65 people living on the base (including children).
This base is a wonderful place to bring a team down to serve alongside them. They go out to evangelize in local communities, sharing the gospel.
There are orphanages you can visit and rehab centers. This would be great for teens, young people, or families to serve.

They have a school on base for the surrounding communities that has about 70 kids. They need help there if someone enjoys teaching children, especially for a young person who wants to dedicate some time to the Lord. If anyone would like to partner financially with one of the kids, it’s about $120 a year to sponsor one child’s education.

Our Team-

We were able to go down with eight missionaries. Five of the eight focused on women, and three focused on kids’ ministries. It was such a blessing because we truly were able to get two totally different directions in one trip. Only God could do that!

Because I know you will ask how the team came about, I’ll share. The group was from different parts of the US, just people God divinely placed for this trip, and everyone was a huge blessing in the gifts they had.

God’s Hand-

We saw God’s mighty hand the entire time we were there. We were stopped at the entry point, and God closed the eyes of the person checking our bags. We brought so much kolbasi, gifts, etc. And had no problem.

God gave us a huge financial vision, and we had no idea how we would raise that kind of money, but God is so miraculous that we surpassed the vision he gave us.

We were able to bless them in such a mighty way. We met so many of the needs they had. So, I want to thank every single one of you who sewed a seed into this trip – the name of the Lord was glorified.

Conference-

We held a women’s conference. Each day we would have service in the morning and evening. God did so much in the hearts of his daughters.

They’ve never had a women’s conference, so this was so much excitement for them. Our team was able to pray through so many different women and sit with them as Jesus healed them. So many women were yet again ignited with the fire of Jesus. So many healings of the soul took place. Jesus did what he does best: restore his children.

All eight of us slept in a school bus without a heater, and we got so sick. Never had I appreciated my home’s AC and heating system more. We were then given a heater, and it was terrific.

Friday-

On Friday, we took the ladies from the base to the hot spring. It was so wonderful to be able to bless the women with a day off. Many of them had never been there, as it is something they cannot afford.
