Weekly Bible Verse Memorization
To be a strong Christian is continuously challenging yourself by seeking ways to grow and deepen your walk with the Lord.
Reading the Bible is crucial to solid faith, and if you haven’t tried Reading the Bible in a Year, I highly recommend you implement it in the coming year. If that idea sounds intimidating, start with the New Testament in a year. You will grow spiritually and be so blessed.
Scripture Memorization-
I am very passionate about learning the Word; an excellent way to do that is through Scripture memorization! God will guide you through His word, and having passages ingrained in your heart and memory is an incredibly powerful tool. To be able to recall the Lord’s word without needing a physical Bible is such a blessing; it’s like having a personal spiritual library!
The Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit is living in us and will bring things to remembrance (John 14:26). When you spend time memorizing scripture, the Holy Spirit will have a well to draw from when he needs to remind you of a passage.
We’ve compiled 52 Bible verses for you to join us in memorizing this year. Learning just one verse a week will have 52 verses memorized yearly! Now, that may not seem like a lot, but if you persist in this, imagine the number of verses you’ll have learned in 5 years, and then 10!
HOW TO USE:
- Purchase the Bible Verse Memorization PDF (the download with be available immediately).
- Print out the pages. I print all 13 out at once and store them in a folder.
- Cut along the dotted line to separate the verses.
- Place the paper in an area you see every day so you can memorize it and switch it out weekly. (Stick to switching it out on the same day to quickly create a habit of switching out the verses.)
- That’s it, friends.
(P.S. You can print several copies and have the same verses in different locations. For example, Place one in the kitchen and another by your nightstand or your bathroom vanity.)
| Though you don’t need anything else to learn Scripture, I have this wooden frame that I am using to place my verses in. It’s a simple frame with acrylic glass that I can easily slide the paper into as I switch it out weekly. |
