Official Engagement (in Idaho)

Officially official-

In our Ukrainian culture, an engagement isn’t official when a young man proposes to a young lady. An engagement party is scheduled where the family from the man’s side will come to the young lady’s house. They will have a party with their closest relatives or friends and the local pastor. Then they will announce them at her church, and they are only officially engaged.

So Tim, Joseph, and I flew out to Boise, Idaho, since that is where his future bride is from.
