We are Moving, Part 2

I hope you enjoyed Part 1 of our Moving Series. We covered a lot of the basics of the move and we are finally able to share where we are moving to.

A Miracle Happened!

When we built the garage on our property, we had a few mistakes in the build that we didn’t know about. When we went under contract, the county came back and said we would need to take the garage down completely.

We were stunned, this garage cost us so much money and work.

I left the building department in shock that we would not be able to close on the home. We were going from one department to the next trying to fix this error – it was such a mess.

I was driving to the township hall one day and praying for God to intervene in the situation. I remember as if the moment was today, I heard the Father say this battle is mine – just praise me. So I turned on worship music on full blast and began to praise Him for his victory.

Though I left the township hall with no answers, I clung to the fact that his victory was coming.

To make the long story short for THREE weeks during our closing process, we were sent from one place to the next and all said we couldn’t sell. There were five departments involved by now.

Then, just one day before the closing of our home, we got an email that everything was approved and we were set to close. One day, friends. God is NEVER late. And it didn’t end there, all departments out of nowhere confirmed we were clear to close – it was such a miracle.

We learned, that His timing is perfect, and His plans will always prevail no matter what may come against us.

How exactly did God confirm to us?

We had many confirmations in different forms, probably because God knew we wanted to be sure this was Him leading us!

• We both had dreams the same night and they were identical, in this dream, we saw the church we were to go to. It was so powerful to wake up and realize that.
• Several prophetic words and the people had no idea what we were going through.
• We both heard in prayer God’s confirmation.
• All throughout Scripture in our reading time, verses would jump out about being obedient to God’s voice and being in the center of His will.
• We both had supernatural peace this was God leading us.
• There were so many different precise moments but here are just a few.

I know many people are in a season where God is calling them to walk in faith they’ve never had to walk in before and asking them to trust Him. If this is you, Trust Him, no matter the cost.

Kids’ Approval.

One of the things we wanted was for our kids to have supernatural peace and be linked with us in our move. We didn’t want them to feel forced. There were a few kids that said they would absolutely not go and they would stay behind with grandma and grandpa.

We said, “Lord, if this is you moving us, you are the God that can soften hearts and ask the Father to soften the kids’ hearts”.

It was about two months before they finally all said, “we are ready”.
This was such a sigh of relief and such a blessing, we knew only God could do that.

House Sold!

We had several offers on our home. Tim kept saying we will see God give us more than we want for it, we will see His hand in the sale. We go under contract for the home but not the extra land we have. It was a good offer but we were still stuck with land. Tim kept saying God is going to do something.

Two weeks into our close, we got another call. There were new buyers and they wanted both the house and land and were offering us more than we wanted. The people we were in contract with miraculously released us and we were in contract with this new family.

Did we buy a house?

Nope, we do not have a home yet. We are going to have a going away party and then spend a few weeks RVing. We will then drive down with our motorhome and stay in an RV park as we look for a home.

Once we move into our home, I want to share a post how our faith was tested and shaped during this process – it is so beautiful.
